Sometimes we as people need emotional connections. Whether it is with other people or pets, that contact is what makes us human and makes us happy. So when you are feeling a bit lost, it is easy to get caught up in something new.

The question is though, are you really prepared to buy a puppy and bring it home? Puppies require just as much patience, time, and dedication as a baby, some times even more if they are very needy pups. That is something to keep in mind when looking for your new pup.
Some other things to keep in mind, is look for a pup that is at least 8-10 weeks old. By that age they will be slightly more independent, and able to survive on solid foods, which will make your life much easier. I know when browsing the puppies for sale, it is tempting to get caught up and go for the littlest guy there, but that is not always the best idea.
Also consider your space before choosing a pup to bring home. Choose a breed that is suitable for where you live, and make sure you have enough room that they can have their own little space. Make sure he has his own little bed, and a place to eat and drink.
Also, consider cost. Not only the cost of the puppies for sale, but also the cost of the pup once you bring it home. Dog food can be expensive, as well as vet checkups and visits. So it is important to keep these things in mind when hit by puppy fever. I know puppies for sale can be very tempting when you are feeling lonesome, but it is best to make a smart decision for both yourself and the potential pup. They deserve a home that is really ready to take them in.
